Good Books I’m Reading 📚
What’s Stopping You, where Timothy Armoo, the founder of the marketing agency Fanbytes, talks about his biggest lessons in business accumulated over his career as an entrepreneur. An easy and pleasant book to read; I also recently made a LinkedIn post with my biggest takeaways, with inspiring points that I haven’t found in other personal development books yet.
The Culture Map. Having read hundreds of books on business and personal growth, this one felt like it filled a crucial ‘missing link’ for me. It provides a science-based context on how cultural differences affect collaboration within international teams, a reality that most of us encounter today, especially working in tech with distributed teams. Overall, it gives you the tools and understanding to properly contextualize communication and interaction with colleagues.
