The story

When I moved to Madrid more than almost 2 years ago, I had very few local connections. To expand my professional network and learn new skills, I started going to local business events.

Pretty soon, I realized that it was not so easy to stay up to date with what’s happening around; too many websites, too many pages, a lot of communities, and no central landing page to keep as a reference.

Probably, many of you had the same problem, for which I was not able to find a simple solution. So I decided to start building something to solve it. Inspired by other newsletters I was following in Berlin, I created Qué Pasa en Madrid and started promoting it.

The newsletter today

Fast forward to 1,5 years later and 65+ editions, more than 2000 subscribers are enjoying it every week.

Everything is still quite small, but as long as people are getting value out of it, what’s the matter?
